MSI participates in EDAR 4.0, a HAZITEK Strategic project led by GIROA -Veolia with execution from 07/2016 to 12/2018.

The objective of this project is the development of a comprehensive platform for efficient management of a WWTP that allows the measurement, analysis and optimization of its energy processes with the aim of minimizing energy demand and maximizing renewable electricity production. This platform will be based on the development of new sensors that will help to measure the critical variables of energy-efficient operation, data-based WWTP modeling and control algorithms. and analytical visualization techniques which will lead to better user interaction and the performance of energy audits.

To improve the interaction of WWTP managers with data, models and control systems, an intelligent and interactive monitoring visualization system based on advanced analytical visualization techniques will be implemented. For this, MSI will improve its art-ICA platform with Big Data techniques (empirical modeling, etc.) which will be implemented and validated in the EPELE WWTP (Arrasate – Mondragón, Gipuzkoa).
